Adele is among the contenders, with "Set Fire to the Rain"
Pitbull: Mr. Worldwide is here!
JLo: rival to Angelina Jolie with all that leg?
GRAMMY Fact: Adele looks to win this award for the second year in a row. She took home the trophy last year for "Someone Like You." Katy Perry is a returning nominee in this category. She was nominated last year for "Firework."
She's resplendent in red and sounding humble. Short speech!
Neil Patrick Harris is LL's equivalent at TONY time. I.e., he's a well-considered choice to present our next performers, Fun.
Adele wins again! I hope we get to see her backstage for remarks.
GRAMMY Fact: With six overall nominations, Fun. are the only group ever to receive nods in all four General Field categories, and just the ninth artist overall, and the first since Amy Winehouse in 2007.
Fun. has hit the stage! The band is up for six GRAMMYs tonight; here they're killing it with "Carry On," about as inspirational a pop song as you're apt to come across. Thus the sunny scene.
Lead singer Nate Ruess is tempo-perfect, spot-on.
Jack Antonoff is Fun.'s guitarist. Chances are he's about to deliver a familiar, wailing solo.
And keyboard duties are handled by Andrew Dost, who's also perfect here. Brilliant song.
